Rubbish french I know
I was slipping into my maid attire just the other day and it suddenly crossed my mind....
Should a maid always wear black? Ok... so it's all a bit of fun and fantasy... but think about the evocative look that the french maid creates.
The exposed stocking tops giving teasing glimpses beneath full fluffy petticoats. That black and white contrast of apron against satin dress. Waist corsetted, heels tottering and the delicious little flouncing of the feather duster.
So audience... should a french maid be a classic "noir" or can we get adventurous and delve into other colours... reds... pinks... blues....
Well...... do tell (and be descriptive... i do love descriptive).... i might just give your suggestion a whirl ;-)
